SALT LAKE CITY
Kilby Court
Very small, intimate venue with a listed capacity of 200. Playing here is considered a rite of passage into the Utah music scene. Favorite of The Backseat Lovers, Surf Curse, and more. A great place to see up-and-coming acts. This place is the backbone of the Utah music scene.
Side note: Kilby Court also produces the famous Kilby Block Party, a festival in Salt Lake City with headliners like The Strokes, Phoebe Bridgers, Yeah Yeah Yeah's, and Mac DeMarco.

Velour Live Music Gallery
Hosts open-mic nights, local artists, and occasional tours. Personally, the venue where I fell in love with live music. Where artists like The Aces, Imagine Dragons, and Neon Trees got their start. Another backbone to the Utah music scene, especially for local artists.
